Our story began at the University of Delaware, where we were introduced through mutual friends. Even though we grew up just ten minutes apart and attended neighboring schools, we didn’t meet until college. From the start, we got along easily and became close friends. We went to fraternity and sorority date parties together, spent time with the same groups of friends, and shared a lot of the same interests.

Since we were a year apart in school, we never seriously thought about dating during college, but we always stayed connected. Even after graduating, we kept in touch, and our friendship remained steady. Looking back, it’s clear that our connection was something meaningful—we just needed the right timing.

After college, we both ended up living in New York City. Being in the same place again gave us the chance to reconnect in a new way. We started meeting at the big clock in the middle of Grand Central Station and going on dates around the city. We explored neighborhoods, tried new restaurants, and spent hours just walking and talking. Over time, things naturally shifted from friendship to something more. What started on a college campus and grew in a big city has now become a shared life.

Throughout our journey, we've supported each other through many challenges and milestones. We've been there for each other during the passing of close family members and beloved pets, celebrated graduations, new apartments, and navigated countless career moves. Each experience has only strengthened our bond and deepened our love for one another.

The special moments that led us to getting married are countless, but one that stands out is the realization that we are each other's home. No matter where we are or what we're doing, being together feels right. Our love story is filled with laughter, adventures, and unwavering support, and we are excited to continue writing the next chapters of our lives together.
